Hartford Rescue Mission exists to offer help, hope, and the life changing message of God’s love in Jesus Christ to the homeless and needy of Central Connecticut.Through volunteers and generous contributions of area churches, businesses, community groups, and individuals HRM provides services to the homeless and needy of Central CT by providing meals, clothing and fellowship as well as addressing spiritual, physical, emotional, and mental wholeness through the power of Jesus Christ.
Distributed with Love: bibles, community & connection, clothing & shoes, hygiene products, small household furnishings, bed linens, socks, hand & foot warmers, bus passes, food gift cards, listening ears, collaboration with local churches and agencies.

Who We Are.
Serving in the capital city since 2005, Hartford Rescue Mission is an expanding Christian ministry serving the Greater Hartford community. By sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit, we are meeting the spiritual, social and physical needs of men, women and children in need.

Our Mission.
Hartford Rescue Mission is dedicated to the building up of God’s Kingdom on earth. Through the continued focus on meeting the needs of the poor and the homeless HRM will strive to:
- Preach the gospel to all attending the mission
- Provide food for the hungry, clothes for the poor, and shelter for the homeless
- Provide discipleship for those searching
- Be scripturally based in all we do
- Help people become more mature in Jesus and be good citizens in the community.
